L’edizione 2023 dell’esercitazione multinazionale Iniochos si è svolta dal 24 aprile al 4 maggio, anche quest’anno la base aerea che ha ospitato l’evento è stata quella di Andravida.
Quest’anno hanno partecipato ben 12 nazioni diverse, un record dalla prima edizione del 2015.
Le nazioni partecipanti con velivoli sono state: Cipro con gli AW 139, la Francia con i Rafale, l’India con i Su 30MKI, l’Italia con i Tornado IDS/ECR, la Giordania con gli F 16AM/BM, l’Arabia Saudita con i nuovi F 15SA, la Spagna con gli F/A 18A+, gli Stati Uniti con gli F 16C/D e gli MQ 9. Alcune di queste nazioni hanno messo a disposizione dell’esercitazione anche del personale abilitato a svolgere l’attività di Joint Terminal Air Controller (JTAC).
Inoltre era presente del personale INTEL dell’Austria e Air Battle Managers del Canada.
Il Bahrein, la Germania, il Montenegro, il Marocco e la Slovacchia hanno mandato ad Andravida degli osservatori.
La Forza Aerea ellenica (Elliniki Polemiki Aeroporia) ha messo ha disposizione una discreta quantità di assetti, oltre ai consueti F 16 e F 4, anche i nuovi Rafale di recente acquisizione, nonché elicotteri, trasporti, sistemi di difesa aerea. Anche l’Esercito e la Marina hanno partecipato con loro assetti e personale.
Tutte le tipologie di missioni sono state svolte sia in ambiente diurno che notturno, sono stati creati vari tipi di scenari complessi e realistici.
Un'altra novità dell’esercitazione è stata la presenza del nuovo Synthetic Training Squadron (STS) e del suo simulatore che riproduce il velivolo F 16, l’STS permette agli equipaggi di svolgere missioni virtuali contestualizzate nell’esercitazione.

The 2023 edition of the multinational exercise Iniochos was held from 24 April to 4 May, already this year the air base that hosted the event was Andravida.
This year there were 12 different nations, a record since the first edition of 2015.
The participating nations with aircraft were: Cyprus with the AW 139, France with the Rafale, India with the Su 30MKI, Italy with the Tornado IDS/ECR, Jordan with the F 16AM/BM, Saudi Arabia with the new F 15SA, Spain with the F/A 18A+, the United States with the F 16C/D and the MQ 9. Some of these nations have made available to the exercise also of the staff able to carry out the activity of Joint Terminal Air Controller (JTAC).
Also present were INTEL staff from Austria and Air Battle Managers from Canada.
Bahrain, Germany, Montenegro, Morocco and Slovakia have sent observers to Andravida.
The Elliniki Polemiki Aeroporia (Hellenic Air Force) has made available a fair amount of assets, in particular the usual F 16 and F 4, and the new newly acquired Rafale, helicopters, transport, air defense systems. The Army and the Navy also participated with their assets and personnel.
All types of missions were carried out in both day and night environments, various types of complex and realistic scenarios were created.
During the Iniochos many missions were carried out with an F 16 simulator managed by the new Synthetic Training Squadron (STS) recently acquired by the Air Force, ensuring the exercise a new entry into the virtual world.
