100° anniversario Aeroporto Cameri

Il giorno 4 ottobre come degna conclusione delle celebrazioni per i cento anni di volo sull’aeroporto di Cameri si è svolto una manifestazione aerea aperta al pubblico, l’apertura dei cancelli è avvenuta alle 7.30 della mattina e già molto prima dell’inizio dello show si è capito subito come sarebbe stata l’affluenza, i dati ufficiali post manifestazione parlano di 105.000 persone, il dato si commenta da solo. Le esibizioni sono durate un’ora, dalle ore 12°° alle 13°°, l’apertura delle “danze” è spettato ad un AgustaSikorsky HH 3F del 15° Stormo, basato presso l’83° Centro CSAR (Combat Search and Rescue) di Rimini, il velivolo ha simulato il recupero di un disperso dietro le linee nemiche, classica operazione di cui il personale dell’AM è altamente specializzato, successivamente si è alzato in volo un Tornado IDS del Reparto Sperimentale di Volo di Pratica di Mare (Roma), seguito dal supercaccia Typhoon sempre del RSV, entrambi i velivoli hanno dimostrato ampiamente le loro qualità, ovviamente non sono paragonabili, tenendo conto di quanto sia maggiormente maneggevole il caccia EF 2000IS, e dei ruoli completamente diversi per cui sono stati progettati. Con una “finestra” assegnata a ciascun velivolo di sette minuti il tempo è letteralmente “volato” via, quindi si è subito passati al decollo della PAN (Pattuglia Acrobatica Nazionale) che invece ha avuto a disposizione il tempo necessario per svolgere il programma completo, grazie anche alle eccezionali condizioni climatiche, visto il periodo! Sull’esibizione delle “Frecce Tricolori” sarebbe comunque sempre riduttivo qualsiasi commento, l’emozione che producono durante le loro evoluzioni è qualcosa che non si può commentare, e di questo ne sono testimoni i centomila visitatori accorsi apposta per loro.
Abbiamo parlato di degna conclusione di un evento che ha coinvolto il personale dell’aeroporto molto tempo prima dell’apertura ufficiale del 22 settembre con la conferenza stampa indetta dal Comando Aeroporto, ma mi sembra estremamente giusto concludere che il tutto si è concluso ben un mese dopo da quel giorno, non ho con un evento eccezionale che ha avuto un clamore più che legittimo, ma con un’iniziativa che magari ha avuto meno clamore, ma che mi sento in dovere di riportarla per intero.
Giovedì 22 ottobre è stato donato il ricavato delle celebrazioni del Centenario della Base di Cameri durante una breve cerimonia svoltasi nell'hangar del 1° Reparto Manutenzione Velivoli sono stati donati tre "maxiassegni" ai rappresentanti di tre distinte istituzioni benefiche. La donazione è stata il risultato delle attività di beneficenza realizzate durante le celebrazioni del Centenario della costituzione della Base novarese culminate nella Manifestazione Aerea svoltasi domenica 4 ottobre.
Erano presenti la Signora Emanuela Rossi Direttrice della Comunità per minori Santa Lucia di Novara e i rappresentanti del Comitato Regionale della Croce Rossa Italiana e dell'ONFA (Opera Nazionale Figli Aviatori) il cui Presidente, Generale di Squadra Aerea (in congedo) Piergiorgio Crucioli, nei giorni precedenti, aveva già personalmente ringraziamento la base per l'iniziativa. Il Comandante dell'Aeroporto, Colonnello Gian Mario Morresi, accompagnato dal Direttore del 1° RMV, Colonnello Fabio Sciorella, ha donato loro, a nome di tutto il personale dell'Aeronautica Militare che presta servizio sull’Aeroporto di Cameri una significativa somma, raccolta durante i numerosi eventi che hanno avuto luogo nella Provincia di Novara in tutto il mese di settembre. "Siamo orgogliosi - ha sottolineato il Colonnello Morresi durante il suo intervento - delle radicate tradizioni e della sincera amicizia che tutto il territorio novarese dimostra per il nostro aeroporto. Nella ferma convinzione che la nostra base rappresenti da sempre un plusvalore a favore della comunità e' per me un piacere poter dare un segnale di come si possa anche in momenti come questi caratterizzati da riduzione di risorse, essere vicini a chi ha più bisogno. Consentitemi di procedere alla consegna di questi assegni nella speranza che il nostro centenario possa contribuire ad aiutare la loro preziosa opera." La Direttrice della Comunità S. Lucia ha voluto ringraziare l'Aeronautica Militare e l'Aeroporto di Cameri per "il sentimento di condivisione della problematiche sociali che la base di Cameri ha sempre dimostrato. Il vostro è un chiaro esempio per tutti i nostri ragazzi. Questa ulteriore conferma ci fa essere ottimisti per il futuro". |

The day of October 4 came as the worthy conclusion of the celebrations of the hundredth anniversary of the first flight from Cameri airfield, as a public air display was staged. The gates were scheduled to open at 7.30 in the morning, but long before the opening the level of public interest became evident, such that after the show the organisers estimated that the crowd numbered more than 105,000, a figure that is comment enough.
The flying display lasted an hour, between 1200 and 1300. Opening the “dance” was an AgustaSikorsky HH 3F of the 15° Stormo, based with the 83° Centro CSAR (Combat Search and Rescue) at Rimini. The helicopter simulated the recovery of a survivor from behind enemy lines, a classic operation in which the personnel of the Aeronautica Militare are highly specialised. Next to fly was a Tornado IDS of the Reparto Sperimentale di Volo from Pratica di Mare (Roma), followed by the Typhoon superfighter, also from the RSV. Both aircraft capably demonstrated their qualities, obviously not totally comparable, given that the F-2000 is highly manoeuvrable, and that they were designed to perform two totally diverse roles. With seven minute “windows” assigned to each aircraft, the time literally flew by, and quickly reached the moment for the PAN (Pattuglia Acrobatica Nazionale) to take off. The team had the requisite timeslot that enabled the performance of a full programme, thanks also to the exceptional weather conditions, given the period! There is nothing that can be said that has not been mentioned before about the performance of the “Frecce Tricolori”. The emotions that are aroused during their evolutions is something that cannot described, and evidence of this were the hundred thousand visitors who were captivated by their display.
We have described this as a worthy conclusion of an event which had involved all the personnel from the airfield from long before the official inauguration at the press conference of 22 September at the Comando Aeroporto, but it is also important to mention another occasion which took place exactly one month later. This was an exceptional event, deserving of equal attention, but concluding a process that had been conducted with less publicity: I feel that it should not pass unnoticed.
On Thursday 22 October the results of the celebrations of the one hundredth anniversary of the Base at Cameri were handed over during a brief ceremony held in the hangar of the 1° Reparto Manutenzione Velivoli: three “maxi cheques” were passed to the representatives of the selected charitable institutions. The donations were the result of the charity activities conducted during the celebrations of the anniversary of the constitution of the base which culminated in the air display held on Sunday 4 October. Present were Signora Emanuela Rossi, Direttrice of the Comunità per
minori Santa Lucia di Novara, and representatives of the regional committee of the Italian Red Cross and the Opera Nazionale Figli Aviatori
(ONFA – aviators orphans foundation), whose President, Generale di Squadra Aerea (retired) Piergiorgio Crucioli, had in the preceding days personally thanked the Base for the initiative. The Comandante dell'Aeroporto, Colonnello Gian Mario Morresi, accompanied by the Direttore of the 1° RMV, Colonnello Fabio Sciorella, handed over to them, in the name of all the personnel of the Aeronautica Militare serving at the Cameri base, a significant sum of money, collected during the numerous events that were held throughout the Province of Novara during the month of September. "We are proud – underlined Colonnello Morresi during his address – of the long-established traditions and sincere friendship that the Novara area demonstrates for our airport. In the firm conviction that our Base has always represented a significant benefit to the community, it is for me a pleasure to give a signal of how, even in moments like this, characterised by a reduction in resources, we can support those who have need of us most. Permit me to proceed with the handover of these cheques in the hope that the celebrations of our anniversary can contribute to assisting in the precious work performed by these charities ."
