100° anniversario Aeroporto Cameri

Sabato 3 ottobre si è tenuto il 19° Raduno del Circolo 53° Stormo, quest’anno l’evento ha avuto una maggiore enfasi in quanto cadeva durante le celebrazioni dei 100 anni di volo sull’Aeroporto di Cameri, infatti come da consuetudine anche questa edizione, come le precedenti, si è svolta il primo sabato del mese di ottobre, nonostante il giorno successivo come da programma si è svolta la manifestazione aerea, atto conclusivo delle celebrazioni.
Il Raduno come al solito è stato presenziato dal Generale (in congedo) Mainini, Presidente del Circolo, coadiuvato dall’attuale Comandante dell’Aeroporto Colonnello Morresi e dal Direttore del 1° RMV Colonnello Lupoli, più dagli altri membri del Consiglio.
Il 19° Raduno verrà sicuramente ricordato per la consegna all’Aeroporto di Cameri della Gabarda, trattasi di una replica, estremamente fedele, del famoso velivolo costruito a partire dal 1910 sino agli anni venti a Cameri dalla Società “Aeroplani Gabardini, replica che si è voluta realizzare proprio in occasione delle celebrazioni, e grazie soprattutto ad un finanziamento proprio del Circolo e donata in occasione del Raduno appunto al Comando Aeroporto, inoltre al termine della rituale assemblea dei soci sono stati anche premiati i fautori di questa opera, costruita da personale attualmente in servizio e da personale in congedo.
Come conclusione della giornata, prima di recarsi al rituale pranzo sociale, gli invitati e i radunisti hanno potuto assistere in anteprima alle prove dell’Air Show che si sarebbe svolto l’indomani, inoltre per condividere l’evento delle celebrazioni con i principali “attori” della vita quotidiana della Base, sono stati invitati ad assistere alle evoluzioni del sabato anche tutti i famigliari del personale in forza al locale Comando Aeroporto e al 1° RMV (Reparto Manutenzione Velivoli). |

On Saturday 3 October the 19th Raduno (Reunion) of the Circolo 53° Stormo (53° Stormo veterans) was held on the base. This years the event had major significance as it fell during the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of flight from the Aeroporto di Cameri. In fact, as usual, this edition, like its predecessors, was held on the first Saturday of October, despite the fact that on the following day the air display was scheduled to conclude the programme of celebratory events.
As usual, the Raduno was hosted by Generale (retired) Mainini, Presidente of the Circolo, who was assisted by the present Comandante dell’Aeroporto Colonnello Morresi and the Direttore of the 1° RMV, Colonnello Lupoli, plus other members of the council.
The 19° Raduno will undoubtedly be remembered for the delivery to the Aeroporto di Cameri of the Gabarda, an extremely faithful replica of the famous training aircraft manufactured at Cameri between 1910 and the twenties by the Società “Aeroplani Gabardini, a replica that had been produced specifically for the celebrations, thanks above all to financial assistance from the Circolo and handed over on the occasion of the Raduno to the Comando Aeroporto. At the conclusion of the assembly of Circolo members, the instigators of this work, comprising serving and retired personnel, were rewarded for their efforts.
As a concluding event for the day, and prior to sitting down for the ritual lunch, the attendees were able to witness the rehearsals for the Air Show, scheduled for the following day with the principal ‘actors’ in the daily life of the base, who were invited to following the manoeuvrings together with all the families of the personnel serving with the local Comando Aeroporto and 1° RMV (Reparto Manutenzione Velivoli).
