Ramstein Flag 2024 titolo
Venerdì 11 ottobre 2024 si è conclusa l’esercitazione "Ramstein Flag 2024", svolta per la prima volta in Grecia.
L'esercitazione è iniziata lunedì 30 settembre 2024, con la base aerea di Andravida che ha accolto tutti gli aerei da caccia stranieri partecipanti.
I caccia dell'aeronautica militare ellenica erano invece principalmente basati alla base aerea di Araxos.
All'esercitazione "Ramstein Flag" hanno partecipato dodici paesi, tra cui il Canada con CC-150, la Francia con i caccia Rafale e l'Airborne Early Warning (AEW) E-3F, la Grecia con gli F-16, i Rafale, i Mirage 2000-5 e gli F-4E, l'Ungheria con i Gripen, l'Italia con gli F-35, gli Eurofighter, KC-767, e MQ-9 Sistemi aerei non pilotati (UAS), Polonia con F-16, Portogallo con F-16, Romania con F-16, Spagna con Typhoon, Svezia con Gripen, il Regno Unito con RC-135, gli Stati Uniti con F-35 e KC-135, e la NATO con AEW E-3A e UAGS AS, completando più di 1.100 missioni nella FIR di Atene.
Inoltre, le forze dell'Esercito ellenico, della Marina e del Comando per missioni speciali hanno svolto un ruolo chiave nella creazione di scenari complessi e realistici.
Durante l'esercitazione sono state effettuate tutte le tipologie di missioni aeree, con particolare attenzione al Counter Anti-Access/Area Denial, alla Difesa Aerea e Missilistica Integrata, alle Operazioni di Interdizione, al Dynamic Targeting, alle Operazioni Composite Air, al Rifornimento Aria-Aria, e Ricognizione, sotto un intenso ritmo di combattimento, giorno e notte. Queste missioni hanno coperto l'intero spettro delle moderne operazioni aeree in una serie di scenari complessi e altamente realistici, in collaborazione con i sistemi di difesa aerea a terra e le risorse di superficie.

On Friday, October 11, 2024, the “Ramstein Flag 2024” exercise concluded, marking the first time it was held in Greece.
The exercise began on Monday, September 30, 2024, with Andravida Air Base serving as the main hosting Unit, from where the majority of foreign mission fighter aircraft operated. The fighter jets of the Hellenic Air Force were primarily based at Araxos Air Base.
In the “Ramstein Flag” exercise, twelve countries participated, including Canada with CC-150, France with Rafale fighter jets and Airborne Early Warning (AEW) E-3F, Greece with F-16, Rafale, Mirage 2000-5, and F-4E, Hungary with Gripen, Italy with F-35, Eurofighter, KC-767, and MQ-9 Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), Poland with F-16, Portugal with F-16, Romania with F-16, Spain with Typhoon, Sweden with Gripen, the United Kingdom with RC-135, the United States with F-35 and KC-135, and NATO with AEW E-3A and AGS UAS, completing more than 1,100 sorties in the Athens FIR.
Additionally, Forces from the Hellenic Army, Navy, and Special Warfare Command played a key role in creating complex and realistic scenarios.
During the exercise, all types of air missions were carried out, with an emphasis on Counter Anti-Access/Area Denial, Integrated Air and Missile Defence, and Joint Engagement Zone Operations, Dynamic Targeting, Composite Air Operations, Air-to-Air Refueling, and Photo Exercise, under an intense combat pace, day and night. These missions covered the full spectrum of modern air operations within a series of highly realistic, complex scenarios, in collaboration with Ground-Based Air Defense Systems and Surface Assets.
