Il 28 e 29 giugno presso l'aeroporto militare di Zeltweg in Austria, si è svolta la manifestazione aerea che cade ogni due anni denominata "AIRPOWER"; un appuntamento da non perdere visto la presenza di ben 200 aeromobili (tra statica e volo), 250 piloti, con un affluenza di quasi 300 mila fan provenienti da tutta l'Austria e l'Europa e non solo coordinati da uno staff di 4.500 persone di cui 3.500 militari.
La manifestazione aerea austriaca ha ospitato sei Pattuglie Acrobatiche oltre al Demo-Team di Olanda e Belgio entrambi con F 16 Fighting Falcon, l’esibizioni di cinque differenti tipologie di aerei militari e di una dozzina e più di aerei storici, tra i quali per la prima volta fuori dai nostri confini nazionali si è esibito l’MB 326 appartenente a Renzo Catellani.
Le Forze Aeree austriache hanno focalizzato più volte l'attenzione, durante l'Air Show, grazie a diverse demo tra le quali:
-un’intercettazione simulata di un C 130 Hercules da parte di due EF 2000
-combattimento aereo simulato tra due EF 2000;
-simulazione di sbarco e assalto di truppe armate tramite Pilatus Pc 6, Sikorsky S 70 "Black Hawk", AgustaBell 212, Alouette III - SE 313B e Bell 407GT;
Anche la Red Bull l'ha fatta da padrone, portando in volo tutta la componente aerea in dotazione, sia ad ala fissa che ad ala rotante.
All'Air Power13, Felix Baumgartner ha presentato alla stampa, per la prima volta in Europa, la sua capsula spaziale utilizzata durante la missione Stratos Red Bull dove si è stabilito il record in altezza di salto in caduta libera lo scorso ottobre negli Stati Uniti.
Molto nutrita anche la componente statica; da segnalare che per la prima volta l'Esercito austriaco ha esposto diversi modelli di carri armati, attrezzature e apparecchiature di ultima generazione utilizzati sia dalla polizia militare che dalle forze armate speciali.

On 28 and 29 June at the military airport in Zeltweg in Austria, takes place the air show which falls every two years called "AIRPOWER". It includes 200 aircraft (static and flight) and 250 pilots. The 4500 staff members, including 3,500 military must manage an attendance of 300,000 fans from all Europe. The Austrian air show hosted: six Aerobatic teams, the Holland and Belgium Demo-Team with F 16 Fighting Falcon, the performances of five different types of military aircraft and a dozen or more of historic aircraft, including the MB 326 belonging Renzo Castellani that for the first time out of our border, it did a show.
During the demonstration, for keep the attention, the Austrian air forces have used few demos:
-a simulated interception of C-130 Hercules by two EF 2000
-simulated air combat between two EF 2000;
-simulation of landing assault troops and armed by Pilatus PC6, Sikorsky S 70 "Black Hawk", Agusta Bell 212, Alouette III - SE 313B and Bell 407GT;
Even the Red Bull was a master, bringing in flight across the air all components included both fixed-wing and rotary wing aircraft.
Felix Baumgartner presented for the first time in Europe, his space capsule used during the Red Bull Stratos mission where he set the height record in jump in free fall last October in the United States.
Worthy of note the static component, for the first time the Austrian Army has exposed several models of tanks, equipment and the latest technology used by the military police and from the special armed forces.
