A partire da lunedì 27 febbraio, fino al 10 marzo, si è svolto presso la base aerea di Saragozza (Forza Aerea spagnola - Ejército del Aire) il primo corso ETAP-C 2023 - European Tactical Airlift Programme Course - Corso avanzato di trasporto tattico per l’anno 2023.
Durante le due settimane del corso, gli equipaggi hanno effettuato missioni di trasporto aereo tattico la cui difficoltà è progressivamente aumentata, le missioni comprendevano voli a bassa quota con la presenza di minacce aria-aria e terra-aria, avvicinamenti tattici, lanci di paracadutisti, aviolancio di materiali, esfiltrazione dal territorio ostile con il supporto di squadre speciali.
Per la prima volta durante un Corso ETAP le missioni sono state svolte in ambito diurno e notturno.
Le aree dove si sono svolte le missioni sono state la stessa base aerea di Saragozza, l'aeroporto militare di Ablitas a 70 km di distanza, il poligono di tiro di Bardenas, l’area Delta 104 di Teruel e il CENAD (CENtro de ADiestramiento) di San Gregorio.
I partecipanti all’ETAP-C 2023 sono stati due A 400M della Luftwaffe (Forza Aerea tedesca) e due A 400M dell’Ejército del Aire (Forza Aerea spagnola), due C 27J dell’Aeronautica Militare (46ª Brigata Aerea di Pisa) e due C 27J della Fortele Aeriene ale Romaniei (Forza Aerea rumena), due C295M della Força Aerea Portuguesa (Forza Aerea del Portogallo) e dell’Ejército del Aire, per completare l’Armée de L’Air (Forza Aerea francese) con un CN 235.
L’Ejército del Aire ha partecipato all’ETAP-C anche con caccia Eurofighter 2000 Typhoon dell’Ala 14 di Albacete/Los Llanos e con degli EF 18M dell’Ala 15 di Saragozza.
Al corso hanno partecipato anche delle Squadre dell’Air Mobility Protection della Luftwaffe, mentre l’Ejército del Aire ha dispiegato delle Squadre dell’Escuadrón de Apoyo al Despliegue Aéreo (EADA) e dell’Escuadrón de Zapadores Paracaidistas (EZAPAC).
Un altro corso ETAP si terrà a Saragozza il prossimo settembre così come altri corsi si terranno a Orléans (Francia) e a Beja (Portogallo). |

From Monday, February 27th, until March 10th, was held at the air base of Zaragoza (Spanish Air Force - Ejército del Aire) the first course ETAP-C 2023 - European Tactical Airlift Programme Course - Advanced tactical transport course for the year 2023.
During the two weeks of the course, the crews carried out tactical air transport missions whose difficulty gradually increased, the missions included low-altitude flights with the presence of air-air and ground-air threats, tactical approaches, parachute launches, airborne material, exfiltration from hostile territory with the support of special teams.
For the first time during an ETAP Course, the missions were carried out during the day and at night.
The areas where the missions took place were the same air base as Zaragoza, the military airport of Ablitas 70 km away, the shooting range of Bardenas, the Delta 104 area of Teruel and the CENAD (Centro de ADiestramiento) of San Gregorio.
ETAP-C 2023 participants were two A 400M of the Luftwaffe (German Air Force) and two A 400M of the Ejército del Aire (Spanish Air Force), two C 27J of the Italian Air Force (46th Air Brigade of Pisa) and two C 27J of the Fortele Aeriene ale Romaniei (Romanian Air Force), two C295M of the Força Aerea Portuguesa (Portuguese Air Force) and the Ejército del Aire, to complete the Armée de L'Air (French Air Force) with a CN 235.
The Ejército del Aire also participated in the ETAP-C with the Eurofighter 2000 Typhoon fighter of Ala 14 of Albacete/Los Llanos and with the EF 18M of Ala 15 of Zaragoza.
