Sabato 4 ottobre, presso l’aeroporto militare di Cameri, ha avuto luogo il 18° Raduno del Circolo del 53° Stormo.
Il sodalizio, che prende il nome dal 53° Stormo, il Reparto che ha operato a Cameri sino al 1999, raccoglie tutto il personale che ha prestato servizio sulla base novarese.
Lo scopo sociale è quello di mantenere viva la storia, lo spirito e le tradizioni di tutti gli enti e reparti che operano o hanno operato sull'aeroporto di Cameri, nel corso dei suoi quasi 100 anni di storia.
Con tale spirito, il giorno del Raduno si sono ritrovati a Cameri uomini che hanno svolto funzioni e rivestito gradi di ogni genere: a partire da ex Comandanti poi giunti sino ai vertici della Forza Armata con il grado di Generale, sino a professionisti civili che hanno svolto, magari con il grado di Aviere, il servizio militare a Cameri al tempo della leva obbligatoria.
Questo tradizionale incontro, che ha luogo ogni anno nel mese di ottobre, raccoglie ogni anno un’importante quota dei soci iscritti; infatti, quest’anno sono giunti a Cameri più di seicento radunisti.
Per l’occasione erano presenti, tra gli altri rappresentanti delle istituzioni civili e sociali del territorio, i Sindaci dei Comuni di Cameri, Dottoressa Crespi, e di Bellinzago, Professoressa Bovio. Le stesse durante l’assemblea, rivolgendo un indirizzo di saluto al Presidente del Circolo, Generale Giulio Mainini, e a tutti i radunisti, hanno voluto sottolineare il legame tra la base e le comunità locali.
Approssimandosi inoltre il 2009, anno in cui l’aeroporto celebrerà cento anni dalla sua costituzione, i Sindaci hanno voluto assicurare al Comandante dell’Aeroporto, Colonnello Gian Mario Morresi, la massima disponibilità delle amministrazioni rappresentate per poter contribuire, sin da ora, a quanto necessario per le celebrazioni.
Come da tradizione, il Raduno vuole essere un’occasione per offrire un concreto contributo a favore di organizzazione benefiche che operano sul territorio. In tal senso il Circolo ha devoluto una significativa somma a favore della ASH (Associazione Sportiva portatori di Handicap). Il Presidente, Guglielmo Koten, ha ringraziato l’Aeronautica Militare non solo per la generosità dimostrata per l’occasione ma “per il continuo supporto e la preziosa disponibilità che gli uomini in azzurro, anche al di fuori delle attività di servizio, dimostrano nei confronti dell’Associazione”. |

On Saturday, October 4, at the military airport of Cameri, took place the 18th Meeting of the Circle of 53° Stormo.
The partnership, which takes its name from 53° Stormo, which operated in the Department Cameri until 1999, collects all the staff who served on the Novarese Base.
The object is to keep alive the history, spirit and traditions of all the organizations and departments that operate or are operating at Cameri, during its nearly 100-year history.
In that spirit, the day of the Gathering were left to men who have acted as Cameri and coated grades of all kinds: from former commanders then come down to the top of the Armed Forces with the rank of general, up to civilian professionals who have done, perhaps with the degree of Aviere, military service in Cameri at the time of conscription.
This traditional meeting which takes place every year in October, annually collects a significant share of registered members, in fact, this year have come to room more than six hundred gathered.
For the occasion were, among other representatives of civil institutions and social territory, the mayors of Cameri, Dr. Crespi, and Bellinzago, Professor Bovio. The same during the meeting, addressing a welcoming address to the President of the Club, General Giulio Mainini, and every gathering, they wanted to emphasize the link between the base and local communities.
Also approaching the year 2009, when the airport will celebrate one hundred years since its establishment, the unions wanted to ensure the Airport Commander, Colonel Gian Mario Morresi, the maximum availability of representative government to be able to contribute immediately, as necessary for the celebrations.
As per tradition, the gathering will be an opportunity to offer a concrete contribution to charities operating in the area. In this sense, the Club has donated a significant sum for the ASH (Handicap Sports Association). The President, William Koten, thanked the Air Force not only for the generosity shown “for the occasion but for the continued support and availability precious that men in blue, even outside of the service, showing on Association”.
